BENTONVILLE, AR – Second quarter results at Walmart Inc. revealed strong growth in revenue for each business segment. Globally, e-commerce grew 25% across all segments. Sales gains in Walmart U.S. reflect e-ommerce acceleration, led by store-fulfilled delivery, advertising, and marketplace. Walmart International e-commerce sales grew more than 10% in constant currency, with broad-based growth across product categories and strong response to seasonal events.

Second Quarter Highlights

  • Revenue of $177.4 billion, up 4.8%;
  • Global eCommerce sales grew 25%;
  • Global advertising business grew 46%; and
  • Membership and other income up 5.4%
