It is the week after the culmination of the festive season. Sellers are now hopefully re-examining their festive season efforts and planning for 2016. The news this week  – The USPS has warned that they are struggling with being competitively globally. Amazon has rolled out more data to sellers via an app and eBay was the place where unwanted Christmas gifts were sold.

While the U.S. Postal Service has taken some steps to improve its competitive position in the global market, the agency still takes a loss on inbound mail and small packages, which in turn puts small U.S. sellers at a competitive disadvantage. Instead, Boerner is addicted to a new app that e-commerce giant Amazon debuted quietly in August for merchants who sell on its marketplace. The app lets Boerner and other sellers get real time information about their inventory and sales along with suggestions about pricing and when to restock. Half of Americans received unwanted holiday gifts last year, and more than a third of Americans kept those gifts. But a good number of other folks seemed to have listed the unwanted stuff on eBay, which says it saw a spike in new sellers and new listings last year in the days after Christmas.
