RICHFIELD, MN – Best Buy is eyeing summer 2025 to launch its new digital platform—Best Buy Marketplace. According to a news item on the Best Buy website (and elsewhere), the Minnesota-based tech retailer will offer a “curated assortment of the best tech” and will introduce “even more innovative brands and products to our customers.”
Best Buy is partnering with Mirakl (pictured here at Prosper Show 2023)—the enterprise marketplace technology company—to power the platform. Mirakl will reportedly allow third-party sellers to integrate their products into BestBuy.com and the Best Buy App.
“We’re incredibly excited to roll out Best Buy Marketplace later this year and provide our customers an expanded assortment of products, new categories and the ability to bring them emerging tech more quickly,” said Frank Bedo, chief marketplace and eCommerce officer at Best Buy. “Not only will we be able to introduce new brands, but these sellers will also have the opportunity to get in front of a much larger audience of shoppers alongside other reputable brands.”
The report adds: “Best Buy Marketplace brings exciting opportunities for sellers to expand their reach, break through and grow their brand. Plus, they can take advantage of evolving partnership opportunities, leverage the power of Best Buy Ads and more. Sellers can check out BestBuy.com/Marketplace for more details about the coming marketplace, including how to apply and get ready.”
