LAS VEGAS – Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) has transitioned from buzzword status to standard vocabulary, but many Prosper attendees still don’t know how to properly use the technology to boost sales. Rob Wiltsey, founder and CEO of Pasadena, Calif.-based VideoFresh has closely tracked the evolution of AI-assisted video, and his team will be on-hand when Prosper convenes March 10-12 at The Wynn Las Vegas.
With the show only two weeks away, Prosper Pathway sat down with Wiltsey (pictured above second from left with the VideoFresh team at last year’s Prosper) to learn more about how VideoFresh is helping customers create content that achieves more sales, more conversions, and more bookings.
Prosper Pathway: How would you define generative AI video and why is it so important?
Wiltsey: Generative AI video is a powerful new tool we’ve added to our creative toolkit. Live action is still primary for most e-commerce brands, but generative video unlocks new possibilities, especially for smaller sellers who need affordable lifestyle content at scale. We believe generative AI will play an increasingly important role in e-commerce creative, and our team specializes in crafting high-performance, on-brand AI videos that actually work for advertising and product pages.
Prosper Pathway: Why should attendees pay a visit to the VideoFresh booth (#452) next month in Las Vegas?
Wiltsey: At our booth, we go beyond small talk. We sit down with sellers and brands to explore how their video strategy could drive more traffic, higher conversions, and stronger top-of-funnel awareness. We’re fortunate to work with some of the most well-known e-commerce brands, as well as incredible up-and-coming companies. Video is now the most powerful form of advertising for Amazon, Walmart, etc, and we love helping brands level up their creative in practical, high-impact ways.
Prosper Pathway: What types of videos have you been making for Prosper?
Wiltsey: This year we created a series of ads for Prosper [see one here] that tell the classic journey of different types of sellers. Using generative AI in a delightful stop-motion style, we brought three stories to life: an up-and-coming seller, an established founder, and a brand manager from a nine-figure brand. Each video reflects a core Prosper avatar, and our goal was to make content that feels inspiring, memorable, and true to the community.
Prosper Pathway: What would you say to online sellers who are on the fence about spending the time, money, and effort to attend Prosper next month?
Wiltsey: I’ve seen firsthand how impactful Prosper is for sellers of all sizes, and there’s a reason the show keeps growing every year. Attendees consistently leave with better vendor partners, more practical playbooks from speakers, and real relationships with other sellers who are in the same fight. If you’ve never experienced Prosper, do yourself a favor and attend this year.
Prosper Pathway: How has exhibiting and/or attending Prosper been beneficial to your career over the years?
Wiltsey: This is our fourth year exhibiting at Prosper, and it’s always a highlight of our year. We love reconnecting with clients and agency partners, and we consistently get a strong response from the floor. It’s easily our most ROI-positive event, and I regularly recommend it to anyone considering exhibiting.
