Prosper Show 2020 Cancels Live Event, Announces Immersive Virtual Offering

Maintaining the health and safety of every member of this incredible community, as well as that of the Prosper team, is paramount to us. In consultation with the industry, we postponed Prosper Show at the Westgate Resort in Las Vegas from March 23-25 to August 31-September 2, 2020. Amid growing concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, and after having extensive discussions with many of you on the viability of our postponement dates, we have been forced to formally cancel Prosper Show 2020.

The cancellation of the live event is due to the ongoing progression of the COVID-19 pandemic, including the latest government data, measures, and guidelines on the phased reopening plans in the U.S.; current restrictions on congregating and large gatherings imposed by states and other government and public health authorities; the inability of Prosper’s international community to travel to the event due to travel restrictions and bans; and the various company-imposed travel restrictions on employees affecting attendees and participating companies.

“Naturally, we are disappointed to not have the opportunity to bring our community together face to face. However, we remain committed to finding ways to facilitate learning and networking for our community of Amazon sellers, consultants and solution providers in new and exciting ways,” said Brian Anderson, Conference Producer, Prosper. “Our attention has now turned to a fully immersive virtual event offering, which we will be announcing in the very near future. Since March, we have been thrilled by how well and how many sellers have benefited from the practical and relevant content of our webinar series. In the spirit of innovation and devotion to our community, we will continue to develop ways to provide meaningful digital connections with the inaugural Prosper Virtual Show,” added Anderson.

Prosper Virtual will launch as a live, two-day experience this fall, with an engaging offering of live-streamed education, live chat opportunity and a full suite of provider solutions ready to help you take your business to the next level. We are confirming dates for the fall event and will be sharing additional information very soon.

We are scheduled for a full-scale, live and in-person Prosper Show on March 1-3, 2021, at the Westgate Resort in Las Vegas. We are working with the venue and planning ahead to ensure we host a productive, safe and healthy event for our customers.

General FAQs
Do you have more information regarding the Prosper Virtual event?

We are planning a fully virtual event experience this fall featuring much of our same agenda planned for Prosper 2020. We are working to confirm our dates and speakers, and will be announcing full details and agenda very soon!

Should I cancel my flight?

Many airlines are offering waived change fees at this time. We recommend changing your flights and any other transportation services to align with the March 1-3, 2021, show dates at the Westgate Resort in Las Vegas as soon as possible.

What about my hotel reservation?

If your hotel reservations were booked through our official housing provider onPeak, your reservation will be automatically cancelled with no charge or penalty to you. No other follow up will be necessary. If you made a hotel reservation outside of our hotel block (directly with the hotel or through booking providers unaffiliated with Prosper), you will need to cancel your reservation on your own.

What are the future dates for Prosper Show?

The next in-person Prosper Show will take place March 1-3, 2021, at the Westgate Resort in Las Vegas.

Attendee FAQs
I am currently registered to attend the show. Will my registration roll over to next year’s event on March 1-3, 2021?

Yes! If you were already registered to attend Prosper Show, your funds will automatically roll over to Prosper Show 2021 in Las Vegas. You will also be pre-registered for the upgraded conference pass for Prosper Virtual 2020, with all fees waived. To request a refund, or for any additional questions regarding your registration, please contact Kelsey Kulbarsh at Kelsey.kulbarsh@emeraldx.com. All refund requests must be made by August 14, 2020, to be considered.

Will Prosper be offering additional education opportunities through the remainder of this year?

Yes! We are well underway working to provide a virtual event platform where you can take part in our curated education sessions, learn from industry leaders, connect with solution providers and engage with the community. Please expect confirmed dates and more updates on Prosper Virtual Show in the coming weeks. In addition, our webinar series will continue through summer and into the fall. Please find the agenda of upcoming sessions, as well as on-demand editions of our past webinars on our webinars page.

I am currently contracted to exhibit at the show. Who do I contact about my booth space and sponsorship?

I booked operational services through Prosper vendors. How do I get a refund?
To request a refund for any Freeman services such as freight shipping, material handling, furniture, etc., please email freemanlasvegases@freeman.com or call (702) 579-1700.
Will my exhibit space and/or sponsorship contracts automatically roll over to 2021?
No. We will be instituting a rebooking process based on our priority points system as planned. However, there will be an option to credit your funds to 2021, but a new booth space/sponsorship contract will be required.
I booked a scanner through Experient. How do I get a refund?
Please send an email to answers.leadservices@experient-inc.com with a copy of your receipt/confirmation or invoice number. Please allow 7-10 business days for processing by Experient.
Will Prosper be offering additional sponsorship opportunities through the remainder of this year?

I already shipped my booth freight to Las Vegas for the August 2020 show. What now?
Exhibitors should contact their carrier immediately to have their shipments routed back to them. For all advanced freight that has been received by the Freeman warehouse, we will be posting further information on re-routing on the show website.
